Your Bio

Welcome to my website.

I've had a passion for photography since I was a boy, growing up in southwestern Wyoming. I have been shooting professionally for over ten years. I now use digital SLR photography 100% of the time, although my experience began with film, working in the darkroom. I have always wanted to photograph things that people don't always see, or stop to see. I am always looking for new ways to create my own style of images, trying to think outside of the box, using new techniques with my camera, lenses and computer.

I love photographing people, nature and the outdoors. I have photographed: weddings; bands performing at clubs and casinos; high school seniors; worked as a church membership photographer, covering a five state region; and high school activities such as sports, marching bands and ROTC.

I have done most of my work in Colorado and the midwest, but have been in Southern California since early 2009 and will be adding to my library of work soon.

Colorado Sunset, Standley Lake, Westminster, CO : These photos were taken from Standley Lake, Westminster, Colorado. This was an especially fun sunset as the rays developed to the west over the mountains. To the east were these huge thunder clouds that had gone over Denver earlier that afternoon. As the sun went down, those thunder clouds lit up beautifully as well. I hope you enjoy these.
